(Dr. Coltharp's introduction letter from Summer 2023)
Dear Parents,
I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself and let you know how excited I am to be a part of the Martin Luther School family. The Board approved my employment and I have assumed the duties as the Interim Principal here at the School. I will be here on a part-time basis as we move ahead and continue meeting the educational needs of the students.
I have completed over forty years in the educational profession. The first twenty years I served at the K-12 level and the last twenty years I have been serving at the higher education level. My K-12 experience has included teaching at the kindergarten, second grade, and fourth grade level. Administratively I have served in K-12 as an elementary principal, middle school principal, principal of the State School for Severely Handicapped, Assistant Superintendent, and Superintendent. At the higher education level I have served as the Dean of Education at Missouri Southern and Vice President of Academic Affairs and President at Crowder College.
I appreciate your support and understanding as our school has gone through our recent transition time period. If I can be of assistance to you in any way, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
Dr. Glenn Coltharp
Interim Principal
